...plusieurs heures d’écoutes fascinantes autour des découvertes récentes de nos collocs les arbres, enjoy!! (en Français only, sorry)

Par exemple l'émission "Terre à terre" invite Enrst Zürcher, qui évoque entre autre le rôle des odeurs des arbres dans notre rapport au monde et cite :

"Il s'est réveillé aux odeurs, en étant couché sur une pile de boit qui chauffait au soleil"(Patrick Suskin, Le Parfum)

 

Los Angeles Garden Projects now in the pipe!

During my last visit to LA, I started a very exciting project in a lovely garden, at the previous Queen's recording studio. Here's a first preview picture of the work in progress art, very partially shown here. I will return in a few months to  expand the design, so if anybody is interested with a similar onsite custom made design, please get in touch!

2017 : The Great Plane Trees Washout

Past year's specific weather conditions have conducted all Plane Trees (Platanes) through the whole France to shed their skin. Such conditions would appear once every ten years, just pay attention to those you cross in the street, it is pretty obvious! Fully exfoliated, they'll look gorgeous next springtime :p

The Lützowplaze park case...

Two years ago, we picnicked along with a recently revealed tree model, and made offerings to celebrate the Summer solstice (this tree was a the corner of the park, which made him quite 'urban', as Ghostwood is an urban project before anything - the park gardener left me work for close to a week as he did appreciate the stuff).

 

...I asked my good friend Fergus (credited for these photos) to return there and shoot some updated pictures, to see how things have evolved after 8 seasons of quite 'continental weather', and evaluate a need for another update/layer...And, two year…

And, two years after, what a surprise !! civilization has moved even further and Berlin starts constructions on the same area. Of course, trees have been, or in the process of being removed, but it seems only one has been spared : this tree friend!

 

of course, the design needs a little improvement, what I will do shortly to expand his possible lifespan, but it's still quite nice, IMHO,, with nice time polish, check this out ! :
